काठमाडौं — एमाओवादी उपाध्यक्ष नारायणकाजी श्रेष्ठले गणतन्त्र दिवसको अवसरमा बिहीबार साँझ आयोजना गरेको चियापान कार्यक्रममा आफ्नै पार्टी अध्यक्ष पुष्पकमल दाहालको सचिवालय टोलीलाई कार्यक्रमस्थलमा निषेध गरिएको छ। अध्यक्ष दाहालसँगै हरिसिद्धिस्थित श्रेष्ठ निवास पुगेका पुत्र प्रकाश दाहाल, सचिवालय प्रमुख एवम् एमाओवादी केन्द्रीय सदस्य सन्तु दराई, निजी सचिव चुडामणि खड्का तथा प्रेस संयोजक शिव खकुरेललाई प्रवेश रोक लगाइएको हो।

थप्पड हान्नेलाई दाहालले माफी दिएनन्, तारिक हटाइदिन कुँवरको आग्रह

काठमाडौं — एमाओवादी अध्यक्ष पुष्पकमल दाहालले आफूलाई थप्पड हान्ने पदम कुँवरलाई माफी दिने बताए पनि कुँवर अझै सार्वजनिक मुद्दा खेपिरहेका छन्। १५-१५ दिनमा जिल्ला प्रशान कार्यालय धाउँदा आफूलाई मानसिक यातना भएको कुँवरले बताएका छन्।
आफूलाई थप्पड हान्ने पदम कुँवरप्रति बदलाको भावना नभएको भन्दै दाहालले क्षमावादान् दिने सार्वजनिक रुपमै बताएका थिए। मौखिक माफी दिए पनि अध्यक्ष उनले व्यवहारिक रुपमा कारवाही जारी राखेको सन्दर्भमा पदम कुँवरले शुक्रबार सम्वाद डबलीमा पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरी मुद्दा फिर्ता लिइदिन आग्रह गरेका हुन्।

YCL to be reactivated as CA poll nears

KATHMANDU, May 31: Just ahead of the fresh election to the constituent assembly (CA), the UCPN (Maoist) is going to reactive the Young Communist League (YCL) as its ´additional force´. The Maoists plan to form YCL committees in every village and city neighborhood under the slogan of ´one tol one YCL committee´. The Maoists have been projecting the YCL as its ´additional organization´ rather than as a youth wing.

KATHMANDU, May 25: Recently, CPN-UML politburo members Ram Chandra Jha and Urmila Aryal and actress Rekha Thapa joined the UCPN (Maoist). Earlier also, many UML leaders, cadres and people from other parties joined the UCPN (Maoist). Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is welcoming newcomers mostly from the UML.

KATHMANDU, May 24: The recent defection of CPN-UML politburo members to the UCPN (Maoist) has not only sounded alarm bells for the UML but is equally likely to create deeper rifts within the existing factions of the UCPN (Maoist).

With UML politburo members Ram Chandra Jha and Urmila Aryal joining the UCPN (Maoist), some of the Maoist leaders fear that the entry of UML leaders may have long-term implications for the party itself.

KATHMANDU, May 22: The Maoist parties --Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led UCPN (Maoist) and Mohan Baidya-led CPN-Maoist --have remembered their disappeared cadres at functions organised Tuesday at their respective party head offices at Perisdanda and Kopundol, on the occasion of the day of the disappeared.
